The location of the hotel is great and beautiful, situated by the sea. It is conveniently close to the whole island, downtown restaurants, and the south coast of England. The rooms are good-sized and the bar area is cozy. The breakfast 

The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and the breakfast was delicious and served in the restaurant.

Our rooms had a great view. The hotel's location was central, right in the middle of the village. We loved how close it was to the beaches and the southern coast of the island. The hotel is conveniently located near Ardbeg, Lagavulin, Laphroaig and Islay, 

Central location was a plus. The property was close to Port Ellen downtown. The room with jacuzzi bath.

A charming small hotel, my first choice in Port Ellen. Fairly clean property, exceptionally accommodating staff who took time to talk and interact with their guests Food and service. Friendliness from the whole staff. Nice restaurant 

Every time we stay in Port Ellen, like to stay here. The place is charming old and extremely comfy. The hotel has incredible location and very very helpful staff especially the waiter who we think was Spanish...
